Please note the following policies relevant to the National Register of Accredited Veterinarians (APAV Policy and Procedures):

By submitting their Application, Accredited Veterinarians approve placement of their name, address and accreditation details on the public National Register (6.3);
Agencies may only give Approval to a veterinarian to engage in, or be engaged under, an APAV Operational Program if that veterinarian is an Accredited Veterinarian (7.1);
Renewal will be granted on an annual basis, subject to payment of the annual Fee determined by Animal Health Australia and satisfactory performance by the Accredited Veterinarian (8 b);
Accredited Veterinarians must undertake Further Accreditation Training as notified to them in writing by Animal Health Australia or the Chief Veterinary Officer as the case may be (5.2 a).
